A Little About Myself
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I moved to Vermont at a young age. I have felt very privileged to be able to call this place my home.
I attended Castleton University (now Vermont State University), where I received my B.S. in Health Science. More recently, I studied and became licensed in massage therapy through the Living Wellness Massage Center & Institute. I loved the work instantly, and dedicated myself to provide my services to all.
I always played competitive sports growing up. My three main sports were football, hockey and rugby. I was recruited to play collegiate rugby out of high school, but decided to focus on the educational aspects of university while enjoying the game and culture of a club program. Unfortunately, numerous injuries have taken me out of competitive sports- but that hasn’t diminished my passions. My personal experience has given me focus in developing athletes’ wellness, on all levels.
I have always loved to travel, and immerse myself in different cultures. I have had the privilege of traveling to 15 countries, spanning over five continents.
I am a lover of nature and animals. I have had numerous, larger than life experiences with nature, that has been crucial in developing my view and relationship with the universe.
I am very passionate about the arts, especially music. I play multiple instruments, and my genre preference has no boundaries- ranging from 90’s hip hip, to Ethiopian jazz, Japanese funk, and classic rock ‘n roll. I also enjoy painting and photography (All of the photos you see- excluding the headshot, were taken by yours truly!).
